[FKL] Aura Kamikura - Live Microset @ Moritzbastei (HTML→MP3)
Music in Leipzig, Germany may conjure up thoughts of classical composers like Richard Wagner and Johann Sebastian Bach to those steeped in tradition, but what many may not know is that Leipzig has a burgeoning scene of electronic pioneers and innovators with a penchant for blistering analogue bass belches, decimated high hats, and industrial snare hits. Aura Kamikura, aka Janina Otto, and the Global Noise Movement, are amongst those leading the way. Aura has graced us with a micro-set from a Live session at Moritzbastei featuring tracks from Reformed Faction, Sonic Subjunkies, Mlada Fronta, Celluloid Mata, DJ Hidden, Ammo, Overcast, and 13th Hour. The set is organic yet logical and leads you though a journey of industrial, haunting, and sometimes, frightening intensity. I think the DJ and producer, explains her take on music best in her own words: I find it admirable that this scene is so wide: from techno to trance, from breakbeats to industrial and rhythmic noise. So I never can make a strict decision what to play. My sets differ from hard breaks, dark d`nb to industec, electro and rhythmic noise and also idm. Despite of this I would name everything which is produced with nous and sense as “intelligent dance music.” The Foundation presents: Aura Kamikura - break it hard like a mayflower -tracklisting- Reformed Faction - Fall angels fall - Klanggalerie Sonic Subjunkies – central industrial - Digital Hardcore Recordings Mlada Fronta – XB-33 - Flatline Recordings Celluloid Mata – Astro Girl - Noise Museum DJ Hidden – As she laughed - Ad Noiseam Ammo – No safe Place - Flatline Recordings Overcast – Loom - Bloody Fist Recordings 13th Hour – Possess - Division 13 Records

DJ Möet aka Pascal Dupuy - Sundrop Sessions 17.2 Mizu Jutsu (HTML→MP3)
FREE DOWNLOAD http://www.virb.com/itspas/music/albums/71928 So we are facing some pretty interesting times here in the USA. Political plays float on a sea of national concern over the tide of the economy. A surge of social unrest floods the senses of our collective consciousness, urging us to either go with the flow or stride with the current for change! This month I'm finally able to share a concept that I've been exploring for seven years. I see our electronic music community as being comprised of many tribes, and the individuals of these tribes have a particulalry affinity for music that resonates with the vibration of their tribe, with each tribe and musical style having a correspondant element as follows: Drum N Bass - Fire Element Breakbeats - Water Element Trance/Progressive House - Air Element Funky/Deep/Chicago/San Francisco House - Earth Element This week's show is my interpretation of the shifting universal energies I feel at a soul level in Mizu Jutsu, Water Style electronica, ala emotive, syncopated, ebb and flow of beats and bass that we know as Breaks... Enjoy! One, DJ Möet aka Pascal A Dupuy Sundrop Sessions 17.2: Mizu Jutsu Tracklisting Homeboyz only - Livewire Take it Easy - Cedric Winkleburger & The Yellow Blueberry's Daddio - 30Hz feat. GB2 Sundrops Sessions 11.2 - DJ Möet on FKL (MP3)
FKL Ambassador, Pascal Dupuy a.k.a DJ Moet a.k.a Big Daddy Blue Dragon has got quite a treat for us this week. Not one but TWO reinvigorating, sharp as obsidian razorblades mixes, that’s not only the perfect way to start the week with, it’s also happens to be superbly awesome! Hour 1 sucks you in with the almost hypnotic combo of the Chem Bros and Regurgitator before 30hz and Yolanda rips your face off with the woofer abusing Daddido. Our mixologist then continues his brilliant cuts in and out of some truly anthemic tunes, with the likes of Drumattic Twins and Far Too Loud amongst others. Then we got Hour 2. I really don’t want to give away too much. All I can say is, be prepared for the fluid rich aural orgasms from the likes of Steve Lawler, Paradox 3000, Deekline and many more. A perfect blend of beats, bass and booyah!
Genres: blends, breakbeat, breakcore, breaks, electro, electronica, funk, hip hop, house, minimal, oldschool, vinylslut

Funk La Sapien - DJ Möet on FoundationKL (MP3)
A nice positive mix from the sunshine empire’s embassador, Pascal Dupuy. This pleasant spread proclaims a breaks / house sound comprised of some of the most tasty vinyl pieces from the American continent. I mean, where are you ever going to find “Activate” by the Goodfellas? or “Temptations” - C-Vaughn & J-Virtue? And where are you gonna find such a natural flow like Pascal’s?
