Well it seems the electro boat has not only sailed but is slowly sinking out to sea and people are clinging on to disco for dear life as the ‘next big thing’. I think it may be something a little housier like the US garage of the 90’s and then there is no ignoring the urban influences creeping in, as producers like MSTRKRFT push that sound. Whatever it may be i am enjoying the disco and there is a lot of it popping up. Brazillian’s Database have dropped a free EP of disco re-edits by them and some of their mates (Bo$$ In Drama & The Twelves) the best of which i have showcased in this weeks program . You can get the whole EP over on their myspace page. Herve gets a berth on the show 3 weeks running, making good on Bloc Party’s terrible song Mercury.
