		<description>MOVEMENT 4 JA PEOPLE

No. 4, aka Static Itch, aka Raj “I got your bass right here” J.I., has come a long way this year. He’s broken ground in the realms of production and composition with a recently release EP, “Acid Singes” as well as exploring and mastering the art of the crafted mixset with various styles including industrial, indie rock, IDM, and of course dubstep. I wonder who’s gonna be the first to book him when he returns to KL… Where ever it is, be sure you get some video for the Foundation Raj!

No. 4 hits us with a ground quaking, bass quenched dubstep banger of a set for the Winter Solstice season. Tracks from the likes of Ramadanman, N-Type, Darqwan, Plastician, and one of my new favorties Milanese, are sure to keep your head bobbin as you squat-step to this cypher. All I can say is Blaze dis one and enjoy…

		<title>DJ Möet - Sundrop Sessions 20 - Egress, Egro (HTML→MP3)</title>
		<link>http://www.virb.com/itspas/music/albums/76369</link>
<description>Egress is when a celestial body comes out from an eclipse...
Egro is my concept of letting go of the ego and growing into more of a whole being...

We seem to be going through this sort of transition now in our world.
The forces of the financial sector have pushed bloated industry stalwarts to their limit,
and the same streams of energy that they once glutted upon,
they are now engulfed by, and in most cases a come-upins is in process.
And as my reflection without, the world of illusion that surrounds me,
I must also decide to identify that which is hindrance to my growth ,
and either allow my selfish ego to continue to take without limit,
or let that rotting corpse of yesterday&#39;s worst choices go...

This week&#39;s show is an expression of the dissolution of beliefs and emotions that no longer serve...
Breaks, electro, indie, punk, funk, twostep and dubstep influences throughout...

Enjoy!

Namaste,

DJ Möet aka Pascal A Dupuy

		<title>[FKL] Aura Kamikura - Live Microset @ Moritzbastei (HTML→MP3)</title>
		<link>http://www.foundationkl.org/2008/10/29/fkl-aura-kamikura-live-microset-moritzbastei/</link>
<description>Music in Leipzig, Germany may conjure up thoughts of classical composers like Richard Wagner and Johann Sebastian Bach to those steeped in tradition, but what many may not know is that Leipzig has a burgeoning scene of electronic pioneers and innovators with a penchant for blistering analogue bass belches, decimated high hats, and industrial snare hits. Aura Kamikura, aka Janina Otto, and the Global Noise Movement, are amongst those leading the way.

Aura has graced us with a micro-set from a Live session at Moritzbastei featuring tracks from Reformed Faction, Sonic Subjunkies, Mlada Fronta, Celluloid Mata, DJ Hidden, Ammo, Overcast, and 13th Hour. The set is organic yet logical and leads you though a journey of industrial, haunting, and sometimes, frightening intensity.

I think the DJ and producer, explains her take on music best in her own words:
I find it admirable that this scene is so wide: from techno to trance, from breakbeats to industrial and rhythmic noise. So I never can make a strict decision what to play. My sets differ from hard breaks, dark d`nb to industec, electro and rhythmic noise and also idm. Despite of this I would name everything which is produced with nous and sense as “intelligent dance music.”

The Foundation presents:

Aura Kamikura - break it hard like a mayflower

Reformed Faction - Fall angels fall - Klanggalerie
Sonic Subjunkies – central industrial - Digital Hardcore Recordings

Ammo – No safe Place - Flatline Recordings

<title>Running Blind (DnB Mixset) - DJ Möet aka Pascal Dupuy (HTML→MP3)</title>
		<link>http://www.virb.com/itspas/music/albums/72959</link>
<description>We&#39;re living in fastforward, the world is reshaping around us...
We wake up, have our morning jolt, whether it be coffe, tea, coke, or Diet Cola...
We go about our routine, routing and routine sound so similar don&#39;t they?
We cruise through our task-oriented schedules on auto-pilot,
and get our resources rationed to us...
Our creature comforts are increasingly becoming more expensive,
but they motivate us to stick to our routine, and gain what little credits we can,
so we can apply them towards our vices and fantasies...

And beyond the curtain of the blur of the world passing us by,
is another world, but we are to blind to see it...
We are running blind through an illusion of reality...

This week&#39;s show is crafted on that concept,
the tracks have been selected for thier lyrics and mood,
in an attempt to portray your musical guide&#39;s take on the state of our world today...

Enjoy!

So we are facing some pretty interesting times here in the USA.
Political plays float on a sea of national concern over the tide of the economy.
A surge of social unrest floods the senses of our collective consciousness,
urging us to either go with the flow or stride with the current for change!

This month I&#39;m finally able to share a concept that I&#39;ve been exploring for seven years.
I see our electronic music community as being comprised of many tribes,
and the individuals of these tribes have a particulalry affinity for music that resonates with the vibration of their tribe, with each tribe and musical style having a correspondant element as follows:

Drum N Bass - Fire Element
Breakbeats - Water Element
Trance/Progressive House - Air Element
Funky/Deep/Chicago/San Francisco House - Earth Element

This week&#39;s show is my interpretation of the shifting universal energies I feel at a soul level in Mizu Jutsu, Water Style electronica, ala emotive, syncopated, ebb and flow of beats and bass that we know as Breaks...

<description>Sirius is baaaaaaaaaaack with a delectable dabble into the dark side of breaks…
If you like your music funky, grindy, gritty, grimey with some crunkin-crankin electro bass
then Sirius has got the junk to move your trunk this weekend.

Our Foundation brother has us bound for a memorable boogie night that features the work of B-Phreak and DJ Fixx, as well as some cameos by some of the cream of the A-list Breaks producers including Freestylers, Autobots, Drumattic Twins, Plump DJs, and Deekline &amp; Wizard. This set could easily be titled “Best Breaks of our Day.” On the personal, Sirius I particularly applaud your dropping in that Future Funk Squad track… They are a great group and don’t get enough attention in my humble opinion… Oh yeah… hehehe, “Here in my Car…” Whaaaaat?!

		<title>[FKL] Rhys Byron - Audio Response 15 (MP3)</title>
		<link>http://www.foundationkl.org/2008/08/26/fkl-rhys-byron-audio-response-15/</link>
<description>Rhys Byron shares the weekly FM show Audio Response with our fellow FKLer D’Arcy and shares with us the latest edition of the show for our listening pleasure. Audio Response can be heard every Sunday Night at 10PM on Bay FM 99.9 (Northern NSW) or online at the same time…once again.

Well it seems the electro boat has not only sailed but is slowly sinking out to sea and people are clinging on to disco for dear life as the ‘next big thing’. I think it may be something a little housier like the US garage of the 90’s and then there is no ignoring the urban influences creeping in, as producers like MSTRKRFT push that sound. Whatever it may be i am enjoying the disco and there is a lot of it popping up. Brazillian’s Database have dropped a free EP of disco re-edits by them and some of their mates (Bo$$ In Drama &amp; The Twelves) the best of which i have showcased in this weeks program . You can get the whole EP over on their myspace page. Herve gets a berth on the show 3 weeks running, making good on Bloc Party’s terrible song Mercury. And if were talking about urban influences it doesn’t get better than ‘When Da Last Time’ pretty sure its a bootleg but the crookers are on point once again. - Rhys Byron

D’Arcy has advised that any producers in The Foundation community that are looking to have their track played on Audio Response should just drop him a line. Sounds like a great opportunity!

<title>[FKL] Aiman Broadcasting… Blaze this one... Flying High Again (MP3)</title>
		<link>http://a-salt.foundationkl.org/mixes/flyinghighagain_summer08.mp3</link>
		<description>EYES TURNED SKYWARD

Aiman has brought the wickedness this month with a blistering bundle of bass-riddled, drum-slap happy riddims to get your soul jumping. Our UK based Graduate represents one of the styles that has distinguished Brit producers world-wide and masterfully blends liquid, tech step and neurofunk into a adrenalin-pumping roller-coaster set. Besides some of the biggest names in Drum &amp; Bass today, i.e. High Contrast, Nu:Tone, and Danny Bird, Aiman brings in some lesser known talent such as Chase And Status, Mutt, and Taxman.

The beats are bumpin, so download and blaze this one… BOOM

		<title>[FKL] MANWË - MIDNIGHT SESSIONS EPISODE 7 (MP3)</title>
		<link>http://manwe.foundationkl.org/Midnight.Sessions.-Episode.7/manw%eb-midnightsessions_ep7_junebabies.mp3</link>
<description>This month Manwë hits us with a super smooth blend of progressive/trancey goodness. A deceptively soft introduction lulls us into a warm fuzzy state of attentiveness then, with dexterous precision, our FKL Ambassador flips the script from caressing atmospherics to aggressive over-drive. With the likes of Fragma, Veracocha, Black Pearl, and 4 Strings, this ride is balanced with equal parts sugarland dream fantasy ambience and terror-dome pulsing big room bass. Apparently this was a live set done for some very special friends at a birthday celebration, which I would have loved to have experienced in-person.
